With over 12 years of teaching experience, Ishwari is a passionate and driven teacher. Her dedication to the form and its aesthetics is reflected in her detailed methods.
For Students
Ishwari's training style not only emphasises rhythm, technique, grace, expressions, but encourages the dancer to find their comfort through posture, presence, and personality. She has trained students of intermediate and advanced levels to go beyond movement and understand the importance of involvement, repetition, and precision.
For beginners, she takes a customised approach based on students' age, speed of learning, and specific strengths. Having trained beginner children as well as adults, she encourages new students to learn not just movement, but appreciate the aesthetics, culture, and roots of Kathak.

Ishwari teaches in-person as well as online classes. With students from India, US, and UK, she has found a balance in the online approach that allows her to teach with the same level of detail and attention to every student as she does in-person. Her in-person classes are conducted under the institute Nrityadham, as well as privately.
Her dedication to the art form and its sanctity is unwavering, something that is evident in her teaching style.
